Tom Hackett (lecture)

Tom Hackett is a sculptor, throughout the lecture he spoke about his popular works, his influences and how he gets inspiration from ordinary things.  he says 'I see art as a verb not a noun'. he mentioned that he is interested in surrealism and likes to interact with the audience.  during the lecture he explained his interest in ordinary things and utilities, as well as showing his exhibitions such as the PM gallery in London in 2003. his most recent work is 'shaggy dog stories' where he is interacting with the audience because people are interested in his silicone yellow dog which he carries in a wheelbarrow.
